Ich hoste #Snikket auf einem kleinen VPS bei #Netcup, damit die Liebste und ich schreiben können, auch wenn meine heimische Infrastruktur nicht richtig will. So ein bis zwei mal am Tag verliert das Vodafone-Kabel die Verbindung.
Heute meldete Uptime tatsächlich den ersten Ausfall des VPS seit der Einrichtung vor etlichen Monaten. Pings gingen nicht durch und der Trace brach kurz vor dem Ziel ab.
Kudos an Netcup. Innerhalb weniger Minuten kam ungefragt eine Mail, kurzer Zeit später lief alles wieder.

Das Bild ist nicht von heute, habe aber gerade den selben Kilt im Büro an.
Lustig nebenbei: Kollege von der Etage über mir kommt vorbei und erzählt von den hohen Temperaturen in seinem Büro und dass er ja nicht "halbnackt" wie die Kollegin kommen könnte. Kollegin im normalen Sommerkleid. Keine Ahnung, was daran "halbnackt" sein soll.
Er traue sich nicht in einen Rock. Zeigt auf mich.
Ich habe ihm angeboten, dass er sich gerne meinen Kilt ausleihen könne. 😂 Hat er aber abgelehnt.
Zum Thema #meninskirts habe ich da mal was von #Zalando.
Einen einfachen schwarzen Rock als unisex zu bezeichnen ist ungefähr wie Erdnüsse, die vegan beschriftet werden.
Nichts desto trotz: der Rock gefällt mir. 😊

Eigentlich wollte ich diesen Beitrag schon vor einer Woche geschrieben haben.
Eigentlich. Wollte. Ihr kennt das.
Nun, als ich letzte Woche bei der #Blutspende im Wartebereich saß, kam eine der dortigen Mitarbeiterinnen flotten Schrittes vorbei, stoppte, drehte sich um und sprach mich voller Begeisterung auf meinen Rock an.
Das gerne mehr Männer sich das trauen könnten, ein Rock bei den Temperaturen deutlich angenehmer als eine Hose wäre, etc.
Über so viel Zuspruch habe ich mich natürlich sehr gefreut.
Abends ging es dann zum Kneipenquiz, zwischendurch hatte ich den roten Nylonrock gegen einen aus blauem Jeansstoff getauscht.
Auf dem Männerklo erwähnte einer der Mitspieler, dass seine Tochter meinen Rock bemerkt und positiv kommentiert hätte. Er war neugierig, wie ich „das“ denn machen würde. Gemeint war das Pinkeln im Stehen. 
Ob der Rock einen Reißverschluss hätte.
Nun, ja, dieser Rock hat einen Reißverschluß wie eine normale Jeanshose. Aber ich mache seit jeher einen weiten Bogen um Urinale und nutze lieber die angenehme Abgeschiedenheit einer Kabine. Daher macht es für mich auch beim kleinen Geschäft keinerlei Unterschied, ob ich eine Hose, einen Rock oder einen Kilt trage.
Was für Gespräche sich doch ergeben, wenn man(n) nicht gendertypisch gekleidet ist.

Bei dem wunderbaren Wetter natürlich auf dem Weg zum #Lothringair (Aachen). Kurzer Zwischenstopp am Hof.
Seit knapp zwei Monaten bin ich bei passendem Wetter nur noch in Rock bzw. Kilt unterwegs. Einfach genial freies Gefühl und praktisch, um mit Leuten ins Gespräch zu kommen. 😊

Ich will schon die ganze Woche einen Beitrag über ein Erlebnis am vergangenen Montag schreiben. Lohnt sich das noch? Und wenn ja, schreibe ich "Heute..." mit einem entsprechenden Vorwort? Oder datiere ich den Beitrag zurück?

Mit meinem zweiten Tattoo war ich eigentlich nie wirklich zufrieden. Schon direkt nach der Fertigstellung fiel mir auf, dass der obere Teil des Ankhs nicht mittig auf dem unteren saß. Die Vorlage war perfekt symmetrisch, aber die damalige Tätowiererin hatte das Motiv dreimal auf die Haut übertragen und dabei augenscheinlich einen Fehler gemacht.
Hätte ich natürlich direkt drauf achten müssen, aber ich hatte noch mit einer Angststörung zu kämpfen und die ganze Situation war nervlich sehr aufreibend.
Nun stand endlich eine Renovierung an. Das Motiv sollte erhalten bleiben, aber alles insgesamt dunkler werden. Also einen Termin bei meiner Lieblingsnadelfee gemacht und von ihr die neue Version entwerfen lassen.
Die Asymmetrie konnte sie natürlich nicht ausmerzen, aber das Ergebnis gefällt mir wesentlich besser und nun passt der linke Unterarm vom “Farbgehalt” endlich zum rechten.

Ich hatte drüber nachgedacht, mir heute noch nen 10km-Volkslauf zu geben. Gut, dass mir das inklusive Anreise doch zu früh gewesen wäre.
Mein Körper meinte gerade auf der gewohnten Runde, dass ihm ein wenig mehr Blut ganz genehm wäre. Die Spende am Montag wirkt noch nach.

Ich selbst würde mich generell als friedliche Person bezeichnen. Vielleicht sogar harmoniesüchtig.
Aber letztes Wochenende habe ich dann doch mal auf so ein unnötiges SUV-Dingens einschlagen müssen.
Kurze Laufrunde am Sonntag, relativ wenig Verkehr. Dennoch meinte eine autofahrende Person - Geschlecht tut nichts zur Sache - beim Linksabbiegen mitten auf dem Fußgängerüberweg halten zu müssen, als die Ampel auf Rot umsprang. Zwei der wartenden Menschen gingen vor dem Fahrzeug rüber, wir hatten ja schließlich Grün. Ich wollte hinter dem Wagen kreuzen, als ich aus dem Augenwinkel eine Bewegung mitbekomme.
Jip, aus welchen Gründen auch immer fuhr der VW Tiguan plötzlich rückwärts. Aus purem Reflex knallt meine rechte Hand auf die Heckklappe, ich kann gerade noch ein Stück nach Links springen. Pech für den Lack, dass ich nen Ring trug.

So I guess this is a love letter to human connections on the internet in the face of bots, trackers, and ad-tech.I am inspired to live more authentically online and tell random strangers that their website is cool, their pets are cute, to offer silent companionship in hard times, to cheer their successes and petty revenges against the machine, to learn about their special interests; but also to receive encouragement as I struggle in my pursuits and to whisper into the void only to learn the void listens and can relate. The world is full of challenges so I'm happy to have a place where I can share my photography, art, jokes, and learn courage and defiant joy. So, thank you Fediverse; the people who make the human-centric platforms, the kind souls and collectives who host it, and the fascinating people that fill its corridors!
