“The term "antifa" is short for anti-fascist;“

EVERYONE. And I mean EVERYONE should be antifa, if not, only “fascist” is left

It’s pretty disgraceful how parties and governments think of classifying it as terrorists

In my eyes those parties and governments are the real terrorists

I am #antifa

zeitverschreib [friendica] hat dies geteilt.

funny how they can change good things like "Antifa" or "Woke" into bad things - lean in Dems

As always, the fascists are trying to reify their enemies, slinging the same old mud, 'communists' and 'leftists', the same tiresome crap - look at them now, calling the No Kings protests the work of the Devil. It's as rote and as predictable as the Tridentine Mass.

They can't even pronounce it and you expect them to understand complex concepts like being against something that devalues other people?

Whenever I see/hear the term "antifa" I mentally replace it with "decent folk".

I’m never ever gonna be able to understand why they aren’t called out on this by journalists.

If you’re against antifascism you are in favor of fascism. Any journalist who isn’t making that clear when writing/talking about statements against antifa is complicit in strengthening tolerance for fascism.

It’s insane.

This is actually a proposed law in Germanyright now as well. No matter what the result, the #fcknzs win: either the law is passed (major desaster) or it is rejected (major whining about no fair "democracy").

I just stumbled upon a short video with an ex facist (mastodon.social/@kunstundkeine…, German only), he explains, why facists are afraid of antifa: they're really embarrassed, if they're doxxed. Really embarrassed!

And so they try to let the state doxx (and jail) them first.

Thing is: if you take away the anti... then you have bystanders who tolerate facism... Time to think of en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_o… and The Boondock Saints and the indifference of good men - and act accordingly!

I find it a bit weird that you need a specific label for people who don't want anything to do with insane ideologies.

Isn't that, like, common sense?

Like, I don't fancy the idea of putting a gun to my head and pulling the trigger.

Should I label myself "anti-suicidal"?

Strange times my frieds, strange times indeed.

You'd think k they might realise that "I'm against the anti-fascists" is an admission of guilt.

Oh god, i thought ANTIFA was "ANTI Fanta"!
And i thought that because Trump always drinks Coke, that he was ANTI FA, too.

But now it all makes sense... 😉

100% Antifa here

so called "terrorism" is most of the time desperate self-defence of an oppressed (and terrified) group
