I’m looking for advice on which service to choose for a new instance for friends and family. Mostly image-sharing among ourselves, but also access to the Fediverse. About 10 users max, so nothing big.

Must-haves:

• Mastodon-API for 3rd party clients.
• Full export feature, including all posts with images.
• Selfhost-able. Docker preferred, but manual installation on Debian/Ubuntu would be ok as well.

  It seems that #Pixelfed is currently not planning to enable full-account exports anytime soon, so that’s not an option.
